Britain's Secret Army

Known as Auxiliary Units or GHQ Auxiliary Units they were specially-trained, highly-secret units created by the British government during the Second World War with the aim of using irregular warfare to help combat any invasion of the United Kingdom by Nazi Germany, which the Germans codenamed Operation Sea Lion.

There were many units operating in Kent and the EHS have researched those units in and around the Elham Valley.
